The Adventure Begins

Life is a story and we are all but players. That’s how Shakespeare worded it right? Well, that’s how the quote shall stay until I can edit and fact check this post. But today is the day that Matthew and I fly to Ireland! And what better way to begin this story- I mean journey- than from the beginning.

Today, Matthew boarded his flight in shivery Minnesota while I showed up way too early to my terminal gate in Atlanta. In my defense, your Honor, I saw ATL Airport wait lines that would give me heart attack so I made sure I would not even give a chance of missing this flight. Anyway, call it anxiety or preparation, they both got me to gate E10… 4 hours early.

But alas! Now here I write, munching on copious snacks as I wait for the noble Delta Airlines to come get me. Once I board at 9:25pm, we should eat/take a nap, and arrive in Dublin, Ireland at 9:55am. Matt and I will try to go straight to “Fitzsimon’s Hotel” otherwise known as “Temple Bar” to drop off our bags and explore the city!
